To begin with, place the stencil material (acetate or polyester) on the downloaded design. Draw the outline with a marker.
Place this acetate paper on a hard surface to make the next step of cutting safe and easy.
Cut the outline of the design (along the dotted lines), using a scissor or a sharp knife. While cutting stencils, keep in mind to cut only the area that you want to be painted on the face.
Do not leave any sharp edges as it might hurt while painting. Once you are done with cutting the necessary parts, you have your stencils ready to use.
